INTRODUCTION

The overall objective of the “ECO – EDU Banat “project is to establish environmental conditions in the Banat region through the creation of a cross-border network for joint trainings.

Trainings in applied ecology for pre-school and school children.
Theoretical education through lectures, tailored to their age, coaches teach them how to accept, respect and preserve the environment. Through practical work, depending on the type of training in which they participate, they draw, make out items of recycled materials, do interviews, play “forgotten games,” and more.

Four types of training will be held over 3 months:
“I’m protecting environment, too” – training in applied ecology for pre-school children;
“Don’t be mean – be green!” – training in applied ecology for elementary school students (I – IV grade);
“Let’s make it green!” – training in applied ecology for elementary school students (V-VIII grade);
“ECO – EDU training” – training in applied ecology for high school youth
For high school youth, after completing the “ECO – EDU Training”, an “ECO – EDU Competition” will be organized, in which they will participate with high school youth from the Timisoara.

In the first period the following trainings were held:

Training for pre-school children:
Through the stories, children were introduced to environmental protection. Also, they were introduced to the concept of recycling. Through practical work, the children made figures of recycled material and drew drawings. See the pictures: HERE

Training for elementary students (I-IV grade):
Through lectures, children are introduced to the following topics: Who are the main pollutants? What can I do to reduce pollution? They also learned the major division of pollutants. They are trained to recognize natural and anthropogenic pollutants. The children had an organized “Forgotten Games Day”, in which they played games such as: Arakinje barakinje, trule kobile, cats and mice and others. See the pictures: HERE

Training for elementary students (V-VIII grade):
The children had lectures on “Energy of the Sun”. Participants discussed and suggested ideas on a given topic. After that, they drew drawings. See the pictures: HERE

Trainings for high school students:
The children attended first aid training and were introduced to the following topics: First aid – its importance, purpose and basic measures and procedures, learning about bonding material and compression techniques. See the pictures: HERE

He has lectured on greenhouse effect, protecting birds and their habitats and on fossil fuel pollution.

In the second period the following trainings were held:

Trainings in applied ecology for pre-school and school children:

The children expanded their knowledge about the importance of trees for life on the planet and gained knowledge about the trees of our region. Through educational magazines, books and encyclopedias, They learned what can be made of wood, the names of trees and how to return to the nature what has been taken from her. That’s how we came to the common message “Don’t cut trees – buy artificial”. We also discussed the topic “Birds in Winter”. The children studied, with great interest, what happens to birds in winter, learned all kinds of birds that exist and their cycle of life. They expanded their knowledge through various games and activities, using a lot of unprocessed material. They also played with eco toys.
They got acquainted with the flora and fauna of forests, meadows, swamps. In addition to this, the children planted beans in jars and later transplanted them into the yard. They also made animals and drawings on this topic from various ecological materials. See the pictures HERE

Training for elementary students (I-IV grade):
